Course Related Experience

• Created a 3D Flight Simulator using the mode7 graphics engine as my senior thesis; utilizing Macromedia Flash MX to author the code, modeled elements in 3D Studio Max, and then converted the models using Swift 3D to be coded by Flash. (the first ever at our campus to do so)
• Took four years of life drawing and fine arts, excelling in environmental and anatomical drawing.
• Created several storyboards w/animatics that contribute to my understanding of developing story and vision.

Honda.com, Torrance, CA – Flash Animator/Developer – Clients: American Honda Motor Company
RyTE Pro Contract – 04/ 01/ 2008 – Present

• Provided groundbreaking advancements by integrating existing Honda/Acura 3D data into interactive 3D flash components and dynamic simulations.
• Created rich object oriented animations, quizes, tests, and simulations that listen to environmental variables called out by the parent engine.
• Designed and developed over 24 highly interactive flash education modules for Honda Motor Company and its Acura counterparts. These modules were meant to educate Honda/Acura service professionals through its use of user friendly design, artwork, educational flash interactivity, custom FLV videos / components, xml captioning, audio guided simulations, and animation.
• Modified existing 3D production models from Honda/Acura Research and Development with Maya. Then designed and programmed interactive flash components to utilize the 3D data.

Equine.com, Phoenix, AZ – Flash Animator/Developer – Clients: Purina Mills
Sirahu Contract – 11/ 14/ 2007 – 02/28/2008

• Created the microsite solutions approach proposal for the Equine marketing director that won the Purina Mills contract, participated in daily conference calls as lead flash developer and as so-cal regional representative for Sirahu.
• Traveled to clients’ locations in St. Louis and in Phoenix throughout the development of the site in order to work closely with the in-house Flex developer and to keep ties with the client during a short production time frame.
• Designed and developed an interactive flash/flex based educational Microsite for Purina Mills www.omoleneuniversity.com. The site was meant to draw in as many users as it could through its use of user friendly design, artwork, educational flash interactivity, custom FLV videos / components, xml captioning, audio guided power points, and animation.

Automotive.com, Irvine, CA – Flash Animator/Developer – Clients: Harley Davidson and Chrysler
Sirahu Contract – 07/ 25/ 2007 – 11/04/2007

• Created several microsite proposals for the marketing directors, participated in daily conference calls as lead flash developer and as so-cal regional representative for Sirahu.
• Designed and developed an interactive, flash based Microsite for the new Harley Davidson motorcycle line www.bikesweeps.com. The site was meant to draw in as many users as it could through use of sleek design, flash interactivity, a contest, custom FLV videos / components, CG and DART tracking, and animation.
• Designed and developed an interactive, flash based Microsite presented by Chrysler for the new Town and Country line featured by Automobile Magazine Chief Editor Jean Jennings. http://townandcountry.automobilemag.com. The site was meant to draw in as many users as it could through use of user friendly design, flash interactivity, professional FLV videos, and animation.

Orange County Sanitation District, Fountain Valley, CA – Flash Animator/Developer

• Developed an interactive, flash video based Succession Management Program presentation to help district Human Resources promote new positions in management, department head, and executive within the state.

IT Coordinator/Supervisor - 06/2006 – 05/2007

• Learned to speak Spanish in a mid-market Latino based Publication Company that served the Los Angeles Hispanic community.
• Took over my ex-boss’s responsibilities and maintained company infrastructure and security while carrying on with my originally assigned duties and responsibilities as flash animator.
• Maintained and upgraded office computer software, servers, company T1 bandwidth, and printers through remote access on Proxy Master, Timbuktu, and VNC.
• Processed daily and weekly server backups for email, production and accounting files using Veritas.
• Upgraded and enhanced the Alborde music magazine website, www.alborde.com which in effect went from receiving only a couple thousand hits a month, to 200,000 hits a month.
• Designed and created www.quinceanera.com, a multi sponsored site created to market and educate readers on the cultural aspects of Spanish heritage and a girl’s “Sweet 15th Birthday” in both English and Spanish.
• Designed and created www.susociodenegosios.com, a multi sponsored site created to market, network, and educate small to mid-market businesses in both English and Spanish.
• Designed and created www.hogarmidulcehogar.com, a multi sponsored site created to market and educate first time homebuyers in the various aspects of purchasing a home in both English and Spanish.
• Developed graphics and flash animated interfaces for www.albordemobile.com.

Awards:
Designed a 3D spline/surface model and placed 1st in Illinois for a 2001 Daimler Chrysler SUV hybrid car design competition and received $5000. I than Placed 3rd and received $1000 in Detroit during the national competition hosted at the Daimler Chrysler headquarters. Received a plaque from the corporate CEO and was broadcasted on several major news stations.
