AVATAR Partners Inc.: Unity - USCG Simplified Stability Test with Microsoft HoloLens 2.

  • United States Coast Guard Augmented Reality Maintenance Aid - Simplified Stability Test (USCGARMA SST) is an MR application created for the US Coast Guard training schools. The MR application utilized the HoloLens 2 to aid the US Coast Guard Shipboard Safety Course. Its purpose was to reduce inspector certification time by 50% while improving memory retention and effectiveness for inspectors who perform this life-saving task on ship vessels. This application simulates shifting cargo and passenger weight on a docked vessel to determine a heeling moment using rigidbody physics built into Unity via NVIDIA's PhysX engine. AVATAR Partners Inc.: Unity - USCG 87 Foot Patrol Boat ARMA Upgrade with Microsoft HoloLens 2.

  • United States Coast Guard Augmented Reality Maintenance Aid (USCGARMA) POC for the 87ft Cutter fleet. The MR application utilizes the HoloLens 2 to aid engineers in repairing the starboard side MTU engine of the 87ft cutter. The application uses 3D CAD models to recognize the ECS-UNI assembly in various stages of disassembly to guide the user in replacing the COM3 board. I developed this POC for the US Coast Guard Research Center using the 87ft Cutter USS Halibut. Now being tested on the whole 87ft Cutter fleet. The application has an On-Site and an Off-Site mode to train maintainers before touching the equipment. USCGARMA also has Remote Assistance capabilities that allow a maintainer to contact an SME using collaborative networking and annotations. Built for the HoloLens 2. (Updated - 07/19/2021 11:40 PM)

Augmented Reality Software Engineer for Avatar Partners Augmented Reality Maintenance Aid - ARMA POC for the US Navy F/A-18E/F Super Hornet. The MR application utilized the Hololens to aid engineers in repairing various faults on a F18. 3D Object tracking was used to detect the aircraft and track it in order to overlay the components. ARMA takes real world objects and transforms them into model target markers for understanding real world objects. The application uses voice recognition and gestures for interactivity. JOESID.com: Unity - GoogleVR Stereoscopic Virtual Reality Ghost Mercs Demo on Samsung Galaxy S7

  • This game was developed with Unity 5.5.2f1, GoogleVR 1.30, and runs at 60fps. The game was a study of Google Cardboard which became GoogleVR. It has two modes of gameplay and switches from a handheld mobile game to a GoogleVR game. The lighting is baked into the geometry for faster performance and reflection probes are used in place of real-time lighting. This video was recorded on a Samsung Galaxy S7.
